132 McKeen Street Brunswick, Maine 04011 207-725-2624   St. Katharine Drexel, Our Mission Chapel Harpswell, Maine   Nestled in the beautiful rural seaside setting of Harpswell, our St. Katharine Drexel Mission Chapel was constructed during 2000 and 2001 by local construction companies and loyal, hardworking parishoners. In May of 2001, it was dedicated by the Bishop Joseph Gerry, former Bishop of the Diocese of Portland, Maine. Opening late Spring on each Memorial Day weekend, tourists, visitors, and local "Island Parishoners" partake in its wonderful contribution to the spirituality of St. Charles Borromeo parish. Our chapel is located on the Mountain Road in Harpswell, about 10 miles south of Brunswick, just off Rt. 24. As the chapel closes for the season on the October 12th weekend, everyone looks back at the great summer liturgies it provided and immediately begin to look forward to its upcoming season.
